Atomic Brawl is a collection-based strategy game that is played against other players from the comfort of your tablet or browser. Players get to collect and choose from hundreds of characters and items to play in tactical battles that are a mix between card games like Magic The Gathering and tabletop strategy games like Chess.

Role: Art Director, UI Designer, Character Designer, Lead Artist

Duties: Established and own the game's art direction, interface design and user experience design. Produce all related interface systems, art assets and animations from concepts to final art.

My notebook is where every one of my ideas gets its first expression, and it plays a critical role throughout the creative development and execution of my projects. It's where I go to explore ideas, overcome blocks and solve the ins and outs of execution. It's my favorite place to work and the driving force behind all of my creative work.</description>

Imagine, Design, Create is a book, created and published by Autodesk, about the relationship between technology, design and human creativity. I worked closely with the book's editors to design a series of infographics and illustrations for the book exploring a range of questions about the human drive to create.

Role: Infographic Designer, Infographic Art Director, Assistant Book Designer

Duties: Developed all infographic concepts and layouts to support overall creative direction of the book and Autodesk brand, executed all graphics, and collaborated on research and copywriting. 

Worked closely with the book's editors on overall book design and concepting as needed.

Collaborated remotely with a large research, production, writing and editing team.

The Booty Bandit is a casual 3D game built in Java. Players shoot The Booty Bandit out of a cannon and fly him around the world, dodging pirate bad guys and picking up stars for points.

My Role: Creative Director, Lead Designer, Art Director, Lead Artist

Duties: I co-created the game's core concept and gameplay, directed the production of all artwork and the game's aesthetic, produced the majority of visuals and led design of the game's interface.

Highlight: The Booty Bandit was nominated for an ELAN Award for Student Game Of The Year.

coLab was a group project focused on helping other teams in our master's program innovate with their peers and clients. Using visual thinking, rapid prototyping, and customer profiling techniques, we created building blocks people could use to help themselves and their teams be more efficient, more effective and more innovative in their creative work.

By graduation we found ourselves working with a range of clients from outside of the school.

My Role: Founding Member, Creative Director

Duties: I co-created the core vision and collaborative design process on our team of five, and I worked closely with clients to ensure positive and highly productive project outcomes.
